Applications and availability
Submitting an application or submitting a housing application does not guarantee eligibility, acceptance, placement, a particular room, or a move-in date. A public application availability status is not a promise that a bed is vacant or ready. Any offer and room facts must be confirmed in writing by authorized program staff.
Objective prescreen and human review
Calm Waters may use explicit, versioned, founder-approved objective rules to route an application to staff review or record a Not Eligible decision. Ambiguous, conflicting, accommodation-related, access-related, or non-objective issues are held for staff review. An adverse decision includes a plain-language reason, other options, and an available review path.
Accurate information
Applicants and authorized referral professionals are responsible for providing complete and accurate information. Additional documents or verification may be requested. Matching duplicate applications may be blocked so the existing record can be updated instead.
Separate agreements
Website content does not replace a signed housing agreement, payment agreement, house rules, offer, or move-in document. The applicable signed documents control if website information differs from them.
Third-party resources
Community-resource listings are informational. Calm Waters does not control third-party eligibility, hours, costs, availability, or outcomes. Contact the listed organization before relying on time-sensitive information.
