Start With the Real Housing Budget
Compare the housing charge with the full monthly budget. Ask what utilities, furnishings, internet, deposits, administrative fees, or other costs apply.
Payment and Availability Must Be Confirmed
Expected third-party assistance is not the same as confirmed funding. A Housing Request also does not reserve a bed or room. Calm Waters-operated inventory is location-specific and property-specific.
Calm Waters-Operated Housing
For Calm Waters-operated housing, there is no credit check, no minimum credit score, and past evictions are not used to screen applicants. Outside providers may use different lawful requirements.
Calm Waters Service Boundary
Calm Waters provides nonmedical independent shared housing and housing referral/navigation. It is not assisted living, nursing care, personal care, medication administration, clinical treatment, detoxification, continuous supervision, or emergency shelter.
