Property owners and independent housing providers with legitimate available rooms may be able to participate in Calm Waters' housing-referral network. The purpose is to connect verified housing information with people whose housing requests may fit the provider's current offering.
Provide Current Housing Information
Useful information can include the property location, housing type, private or shared room options, current availability, current housing charge, deposits or fees, included utilities or furnishings, accepted payment arrangements, accessibility information, lawful housing criteria, and the best referral contact.
Submission Is a Review Step
Providing property information does not automatically create a partnership, guarantee referrals, guarantee occupancy, or guarantee compensation. Calm Waters may review the information and request clarification before using it in active referral work.
Providers Keep Their Decision-Making Authority
Outside housing providers retain responsibility for their own lawful eligibility requirements, screening, pricing, documentation, accommodation processes, agreements, availability, and acceptance decisions.
Referral Is Not Guaranteed Occupancy
A referral is an introduction or housing connection, not a promise that the person will move in. The provider and housing seeker still need to complete the applicable review, confirm terms, and complete the actual move-in.
Provider Fees and Compensation
When a provider relationship includes a referral or placement fee, the applicable amount, timing, and conditions are governed by the current written provider terms. A fee is not owed merely because provider information was submitted or a referral was reviewed.
Calm Waters-Operated Housing Is Separate
Policies for Calm Waters-operated housing, including its no-credit-check and past-eviction screening policy, do not automatically become the policies of outside housing providers.
Submit Provider Information
Property owners and housing providers can submit current housing information for review. Submission does not guarantee approval as a partner, referral volume, occupancy, revenue, or a successful placement.
